Who are the people behind our projects? Please let us introduce ourselves. We are quite an international bunch!

1. A Purpose for Life Foundation (The Netherlands)

A Purpose for Life Foundation was originally set up by Simon Ramsay, first under the name of Nomadslife Foundation as his first project was to travel to Nomad tribes in Siberia and Mongolia. After his return he was joined in the board of the Foundation by Manon Tromp from the Netherlands and the name was changed to A Purpose for Life Foundation (Purple) in order to be able to support more projects.

 

SIMON JAMES RAMSAY | AGE 37 | PROFESSIONALLY VARIABLE | BRITISH
Project leader Ramsay arranged this expedition to learn from the Nomadic culture, to write a book, and to share his experience. No great school achievements. Metropolitan Police London for 18 months, Royal Marines Commandos 45 Commando Commachio Group for 4 years 8 months, Multi level Dive Instructor, Microlight Pilot, Mountain Leader, Diverse boat handling skills, 12 years roaming Asia and Africa working mostly in Diving/Boating, organising expeditions to remote areas for adventure and travelling extensively through Central South East Asia.

MANON TROMP | AGE 45 | LIFE COACH, WRITER, JOURNALIST | DUTCH
Mother of two teenagers, Manon is a member of the Purpose for Life Foundation and was directly involved with the administration and logistics of the Nomads Life project. Manon has a passion for different things, particularly in the area of expression: writing, singing, and speaking. She strongly believes that we should take better care of the earth and ourselves. Manon has written numerous articles covering various subjects in the field of consciousness and personal growth. Her personal website is www.manontromp.com

Fund raiser and sponsor liason. Stayed behind in the Netherlands to organise funds and other support.
 

3. Earth Awareness Project ( The Netherlands)

Manon Tromp is one of three initiators of this project. The other two are happy to introduce themselves here:

AEdske van Steenbergen-Klein: Artist, Medium, Healer and Teacher based in the Netherlands. It is my purpose to connect people with their deeper and higher self, from that connection we are able to make a real and compassionate contact with our environment. This is the basic for a deeper understanding to each other, that will bring healing and peace into this world.
