EARTH AWARENESS DAY

Earth Awareness Day is a gathering of like minded people who care about the state of the earth. They will come together on this day to honour, give thanks and celebrate Mother Earth, as she is our source and is in need of our attention to bring about more awareness in the world. Our intention is to bring healing energy to the earth so that we can help bring about the much needed harmony and peace for everyone. We are creatures of the earth and we need to remember our connection to her in order to honour our own connection to our soul. This gathering is about coming together and share: experiences, initiatives and much more.

 

Mayan Calender

 

According to the Mayan Calender, on May 29 of 2010 there will be a galatic activating gate, which enables us to experience more connection to the universe. The blue colour of this day indicates that this is a good day for transformation and creation. The spectral moon is the moon of letting go. Number 12 is about being open to receive and to finish projects. The monkey shows you how to go on your path with laughter and happiness and how to enjoy the magic of life. All and all this will be a perfect day for coming together, play, have fun and transform the earth energy.

 

PANUR: We are very pleased to be working together on this day with Stichting PANUR,  who will facilitate a few activities. PANUR (Planetair Artistiek Netwerk)  is a worldwide peace movement of the 13 Moon Calendar. This group is involved in studying and developing The Law of Time. This law is the knowledge bases for working with the Maya Calendar and provides through a new kind of language, time codes, a guide to a complete new world just by changing the regular time. Program:

It will be a day of celebration, sharing and networking, during which the following is offered:

• Nature and shamanic workshops, special children’s workshops
• Earth Ceremony with One Heart Dance, facilitated by PANUR

One Heart Dance is a special dance from Hopi tradition aimed to transform all opposites to be as one. By walking a specific shape, each one of us will experience his or her own way of letting go of limitations and feel the beating of One Heart.

• Earth Circles: sharing wisdom and experiences – a special network market will be available to all who would like to share their initiative or ideas. Please let us know if you want to be included.
• Earth Market: natural articles and more (EARTH MARKET)

We offer two options to participate in this day:

1. Earth Awareness day program – from 9.00 till 17.00 hours – including workshop, earth ceremony and dance,  earth circle and market:      35 euro p.p. ;  young ones between 6 and 18:  15 euro p.p. ; children up to 5 yrs free.
2. Earth Awarenesss day/night program – from 19.00 hours Friday May 28 till Saturday May 29 17.00 hours, including the above mentioned facilities, 1 overnight stay on Saturday. Choice between:

• Camping: 45 euro p.p.; young ones between 6 and 18: 25 euro; children up to 5 yrs free      
• B&B Athanor : 60 euro p.p.; young ones between 6 and 18: 40 euro; children up to 5 yrs free when you bring child’s travelcot or airmatress (rates based on double room, single room is 15 euro extra)

Location: We have found the perfect location to celebrate our Earth Awareness Day and we are very proud to work together with Leo and Joos, who are the hosts of this centre. It is called Centrum Athanor  ( www.centrumathanor.nl ) and it is located in Lochem, a beautiful village in the East part of our country. It has it’s own stone circle, labyrinth and it lies in the middle of fields where hardly any sounds of cars or modern noise can be heard.

Athanor offers B&B facilities, but the rooms are limited, so make sure you reserve on time. Staying on the Saturday night will not be possible because of other programs. Camping on site however is always possible, just bring your own tent, but be aware that there will be no showerfacilities. There is acces to toilet and hot and cold water.
